Download the Howard County Bikeshare app, scan the QR code on the electric moped, scooter, or e-bike, and tap unlock. Members can also use a pass card.
What types of rides are available?
The platform covers electric bikes, shared scooters, electric mopeds, electric motorcycles, and public electric transport guides for local commuters.
Do I need a license?
Standard e-bikes and most scooters do not require a motorcycle license, but faster mopeds and motorcycles may require a valid license and insurance depending on local rules.
Where can I return a ride?
Return shared rides to approved stations or designated parking zones shown in the app. Always keep sidewalks, ramps, and building entrances clear.
How far can I ride on one charge?
Range depends on vehicle type, rider weight, terrain, and weather. E-bikes are ideal for short commutes, while mopeds and motorcycles are better for longer local trips.
What happens in bad weather?
Service may be temporarily suspended during heavy storms, ice, or dangerous riding conditions. Check the app for live station and weather alerts.
